Who is behind Fly for Kidz?

Hello, my name is María López Baños, a teacher by vocation and the heart, hands, and mind behind Fly for Kidz.

I have spent over ten years working with children in Spain and England, and since 2023, Switzerland has become my home — a place whose calm, nature, and kindness have inspired me from day one.

To continue working close to children, I became a nanny, learning from each family while building a new life and learning a new language, step by step.

How it all began

A few years ago, I discovered a new passion on my teaching journey: creating and designing materials that connect with children's curiosity: games, stories, and activities that nurture imagination, emotions, and development.

From that desire to create with intention, Fly for Kidz was born:

A project that brings together everything I have learned — and everything I am still learning — to bring warmth, creativity, and play to the daily lives of families.

To offer honest, safe, and beautiful creations that connect play, growth, and bonding.

Each piece is handmade with love in Switzerland, using untreated beech wood, food-grade silicone, and durable cords, ensuring that what reaches little hands is as safe as it is special.

Each design seeks to spark curiosity, soothe, and accompany development — from the first months of life to those magical first explorations of the world.
